Is the farm open to the public/do you offer farm tours?
No - the plots which comprise our urban farm are located on privately owned property and not open to the public. As such and for liability reasons, I do not offer farm tours at this time. While one plot is on a visible street corner, it is still part of someone's home, and I ask that you please not walk on the lawn adjacent to the growing space.

​Do you have a storefront?
No - you can find our fresh flowers as part of our CSA memberships seasonally, and occasionally for purchase locally in College Park, based on availability. The farm plots are located on private property and not open to the public.

How do I get flowers?
You can enjoy Secret Garden Guru's flowers throughout the spring and fall as part of our seasonal flower CSA memberships, and occasionally for purchase locally in College Park, based on availability. Secret Garden Guru also offers floral design services for small weddings and intimate elopements by request and based on availability. To note: we do not respond to wedding and elopement inquiries that do not fill out our Inquiry Form.

Do you sell wholesale product (fresh or dried flowers, edible flowers, etc)?
No - we do not offer wholesale product of any kind.

Do you offer floral design for events other than weddings (i.e., baby/bridal showers, photoshoots, birthday celebrations, graduations, etc)?
No - at this time our focus is only on providing event florals for small weddings and intimate elopements.

Can I customize my CSA Subscription?
No - CSA dates are carefully selected to reflect the seasonality of the farm and what's blooming at any given time. We harvest fresh for each week's CSA and do not have the resources to accommodate custom requests. If you are traveling during your CSA subscription and/or unable to pick up one of the weeks, you have the option to gift that week's bouquet to a friend. Otherwise, we will gift it to a community member. Secret Garden Guru does not offer refunds on any missed weeks.​

Do you grow year-round?
No - Secret Garden Guru's two main seasons are spring and fall, with spring being the more robust season for fresh flowers (typically late-January/early February through June). We do not farm in the summer (mid-June - mid-August) due to our incredibly hot, wet and unpredictable weather here in Central Florida.

Do you offer wedding and floral design services year-round?
Secret Garden Guru prioritizes wedding and elopement services that take place during our active growing season here in Central Florida (February - June, and October - November). Our goal is to celebrate our couples with our locally grown flowers in the most seasonal way possible. If you are interested in booking your wedding or event with us in an "off" season, please submit an Inquiry Form and we will be in touch.

What exactly is "sustainable design?"
While sustainable design can mean many things to many different people, for me it means reducing my environmental footprint as much as possible. In addition to growing most of the floral product we use in events and weddings (which cuts down on the plastic waste most wholesale flowers come packaged in and reduces exposure to pesticide residue from crop spraying), we also utilize foam-free alternative design mechanics such as chicken wire, pin frogs and other foam alternatives such as Agra-wool (which is made of natural rock fibers and can be reused and composted in small amounts).

Do you offer DIY florals for events?
While Secret Garden Guru does offer three small wedding and elopement packages, plus a selection of Floral Add-ons, we do NOT offer DIY flower buckets for events.

What if I do not need all the items listed in your wedding and elopement packages?
After careful consideration, we are not offering full-service/custom wedding proposals at this time. We are also no longer offering A la Carte only florals. To book with us, you must select one of the three packages that most closely meets your needs. You may not subtract items from packages; however, you can add to each package from the menu of Floral Add-on items offered. When in doubt, start with the Elopement Package and add from there. Substitutions are considered on a case-by-case basis.

No - you must select the package that most closely meets your needs. You can then add Floral Add-on items to your package, as needed.

Do you offer full-service weddings/proposals?
At this time, Secret Garden Guru is only offering a selection of wedding packages with additional Floral Add-on options. Delivery and set up is not included but available for an additional fee.

Do you offer workshops and educational opportunities?
While our primary focus is on farming for our seasonal CSA memberships and wedding/elopement design work, we occasionally partner with groups locally to provide classes to the community. For a specific inquiry, please contact us directly.

Do you offer refunds?
No - Secret Garden Guru does not offer refunds of any kind on purchases of any kind whatsoever.

Do you ship flowers?
No - Secret Garden Guru does not ship fresh flowers at this time.
