Is the farm open to the public/do you offer farm tours?
No - the urban farm plots are all located on privately owned property and not open to the public. As such and for liability reasons, I do not offer farm tours at this time. While one plot is on a visible street corner, it is still part of someone's home, and I ask that you please not walk on the lawn adjacent to the growing space.

How do I get flowers?
You can find Secret Garden Guru's flowers at farmer's markets throughout the spring and fall and as part of seasonal flower CSA subscriptions. Secret Garden Guru offers custom event and wedding florals, as well, by request and based on availability. To learn more about our offerings, visit our services page or contact me with any questions.

Can I customize my CSA Subscription?
No - CSA dates are carefully selected to reflect the seasonality of the farm and what's blooming at any given time. I harvest fresh for each week's CSA and do not have the resources to accommodate custom requests. If you are traveling during your CSA subscription and/or unable to pick up one of the weeks, you have the option to gift that week's bouquet to a friend. Otherwise, I will gift it to a community member. I do not offer refunds on any missed weeks.

Do you offer refunds?
If a purchase was truly made in error, then yes - I will honor a refund. Otherwise, I do not offer refunds on any online purchases.

Do you grow year-round?
No - Secret Garden Guru's two main seasons are spring and fall, with spring being the more robust season for fresh flowers. I do not farm in the summer (mid-June - mid-August) due to our incredibly hot, wet and unpredictable weather here in Central Florida.

Do you offer wedding and floral design services year-round?
Yes! Even though I strive to use as much locally grown flowers from the farm as possible, I do offer wedding, elopement and general design services by request year-round. I aim to source wholesale flowers from reputable sources, focusing on American-grown flowers. If you are interested in booking your wedding or event with us in an "off" season, please still fill out either our Wedding Inquiry Form or A la Carte Form.

What exactly is "sustainable design?"
While sustainable design can mean many things to many different people, for me it means reducing my environmental footprint as much as possible. In addition to growing most of the floral product I use in events and weddings (which cuts down on the plastic waste most wholesale flowers come packaged in and reduces exposure to pesticide residue from crop spraying), I also utilize foam-free alternative design mechanics such as chicken wire, pin frogs and other foam alternatives such as Agra-wool (which is made of natural rock fibers and can be reused and composted in small amounts).

Do you offer DIY florals for events?
Yes! Secret Garden Guru offers both full-service wedding design as well as a la carte florals, which include the option for DIY flower buckets. Please visit our a la carte page for more information, or contact me directly.

Do you have a storefront?
No - you can find our fresh farmed flowers and farm goods at markets throughout Orlando seasonally. The farm plots are located on private property and not open to the public.

Do you ship flowers?
No - Secret Garden Guru does not ship fresh flowers at this time.
